Self Care Made Simple

If you know us, you know how much we value self care.

We’re here to make it easy on you!

We’ve curated the perfect list to help you find what works for you. Take what works, eliminate what doesn’t, or follow it step by step … because it’s a good one.

Self care, made simple

Step One: Hair Mask & Oil

Let’s hydrate that hair! We love doing our self care days/nights when it’s wash day, why not lather up your hair with your favorite mask and oil! Personally, we love the NouNou Hair Mask and Renewing Superactive Serum by Davines. The NouNou Hair Mask is great for bleached, permed or relaxed hair. The formula moisturizes and nourishes hair in depth making it easy to untangle, soft and giving it body without weighing it down. The Renewing Superactive Serum helps maintain the wellbeing of scalp and hair, promoting their longevity and natural beauty. Get ready for softer, shinier and full-bodied hair, sign us up! If you really want the full ‘in salon’ experience, use a scalp massager to gently massage the oil into your roots.

Step Two: Set the Mood

While your hair mask sits, set the mood with your favorite candle. Ahhhh deep breathes. Here is a fact we love - lighting a candle can help link you to positive past memory. It can also help reduce stress, improve mood, and help with sleep. One of our favorite candles right now is the Rose & Sandalwood by Benevolent. Find a scent that makes you happy.

Step Three: Eye Patches

You’re already here, go ahead and eye patch too! We’re loving the Patchology Rosé eye patch as they hydrate the skin, while providing a refreshing antioxidant-rich experience. Plus, they feel SO relaxing and cooling for the skin.

Step Four: Treat Yourself to a Bevy

There’s something so nice about making yourself a nice cocktail in the comfort of your own home. Our current obsession? A Honey & Thyme Margarita. We have a whole blog post dedicated to this recipe, take a look here.

Self care made simple

Step Five: Ice Roller

We can not say enough good things about using an ice roller on your face. It’s great for reducing puffiness and dark circles, and feels AMAZING. It’s also great if you have acne prone skin.

Step Six: Gua Sha

The benefits of Gua Sha are endless! To name a few: increases circulation, reduces muscle tension, and promotes lymphatic drainage.

Step Seven: Unplug with our fave Manifestation Journal

For the rest you truly need, spend at least 30 minutes before your bedtime completely unplugged and screen free. Wind down with a manifestation journal to center your thoughts on your intentions.

If you use all seven of these steps or just do a2 or 3, remember this - caring for yourself is the best way to show up in the world and be available to care for others. Now you can shop for this entire routine right here in our amazon storefront, we made simple for you!
