We’re writing with a heartfelt update about The Harbor Salon and an exciting next chapter for this space and community:

The Harbor has always been more than a salon — it’s been a place built on trust, creativity, and care. The previous owners, The Wallaces, poured so much intention into this space over the years, thoughtfully nurturing the culture, the team, and the client experience. As they step into a new season, they’ve done so with deep care in choosing who would carry The Harbor forward.

We’re honored to share that ownership of The Harbor Salon is transitioning to Amanda Riley, founder of Summer Hours Salon — someone who knows this space well and holds it close to her heart. Amanda worked behind the chair at The Harbor earlier in her career, and many of the relationships and values that shape her work today were formed within these very walls.

This transition feels less like a goodbye and more like a passing of the torch — one rooted in trust, respect, and a shared belief in what makes a salon truly special.

First and foremost, we want to reassure you:

  • The location remains the same

  • The warmth, care, and artistry you’ve come to expect continue without disruption

What’s Gently Evolving:

As part of this next chapter, The Harbor team and the Summer Hours team will be coming together under one roof and one shared name: Summer Hours Salon. This change reflects a uniting of two like-minded communities — not a departure from what you love, but an expansion of it.

You’ll begin seeing the Summer Hours Salon name reflected in future communications and booking, while the heart of the space, the people, and the experience remain beautifully familiar.
