What Color Service Do I Book?
How do I know whether to pick a full highlight service or a partial?
How do I make the distinction between full and partial? A good starting question is how "light” do you want your hair to be at the end of the service. If it is an all over brightening you are definitely going to want a full highlight, even if you want to do a more “ombre” look but are wanting it to be a lot of brightness on the bottom of your hair that would be a full highlight service! A partial highlight is for clients who have already been in for a full highlight appointment and want to cover any regrowth that is on the crown of the head or if you want to do a more sun kissed look but keeping your natural as being the main base color!
“‘Corrective Color’ sounds intense, I just want to go back to my natural / be blonde!”
We suggest any client wanting a big change in one appointment to go with a Corrective Color service! This is to allow us to take the right amount of time to put into your end results! Whether you are going from a dirty blonde to all over platinum in one sitting, dying your hair blue, or maybe taking your hair back from years of bleaching to your natural color this is the service for you! We love big appointments like this but we do require a consultation beforehand, a consultation is a free 15 minute appointment where you and your stylist will sit down and get to answer any questions you have for this appointment, bring your inspiration, and discuss the cost, and book your big appointment!
“I want to be all over blonde! No dimension just the brightest blonde I can be!”
Bleach and Tone is the service you will want to get but it depends on where you are starting from! If you currently are not a bleach and tone client you will want to do a corrective color to make that transition either from highlights or no color at all to get you in the first step of being a bleach and tone person! Bleach and Tones are so much fun because you can be bright blonde but you still have a lot of options on what kind of blonde you would like to be! If you are thinking about doing all over blonde please schedule a consultation first this is where you and your stylist will discover if you are in fact a Corrective Color service to start and then get on a schedule of Bleach and Tone retouch appointments!
“What is a Base Color Retouch & Base Color Pull Through Ends?”
Do you want to cover up grey hair? Do you want to cover up grey hair AND bring rich color into all of your locks? That is really the difference. Base Color Retouch is for clients who have regular maintenance appointments to get their grey covered the color is applied at the roots and is able to cover up to 3 inches of regrowth. If you have any longer regrowth or would like to change the tone(warmer or cooler) or enhance richness or shine of your color that is when you would book a Base Color Pull Through Ends!
“I don’t want to change my color but my hair is just feeling ‘blah,’ what can I book?”
We have two services that are great for making your hair feel lively and new without changing the color!
